About Me
Hi!
I’m Lisa, a registered dietitian with 20 years of experience, and more recently, a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) who supports people in rebuilding a more peaceful, trusting relationship with food and their body.
For many of the clients with whom I work, food is never just food. It’s tied to stress, identity, health, trauma, culture, and years of mixed or harmful messages. My goal is to help you feel more confident and grounded in your eating—giving yourself permission to enjoy the foods you love while also supporting your body and mind in ways that feel realistic and compassionate.
If you feel overwhelmed by food choices, fear your appetite or certain foods, struggle with emotional eating, or binging, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it on your own. I encourage clients to move away from rigid rules and constant self-monitoring, and instead look at the bigger picture of health, satisfaction, and quality of life.
My work in psychotherapy allows us to explore beyond what you eat, towards understanding why food and body concerns have taken up so much space. I take an integrative, humanistic approach grounded in person-centered, non-pathologizing, and feminist frameworks, informed by a social justice lens.
If you’re looking for support that feels collaborative, affirming, and grounded in both expertise and humanity, I’d be honoured to work with you.
Outside of my professional role, I’m a wife and a mom of two. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me painting or cross stitching, reading, cooking (and eating with my favourite spoon!), and sharing 80s and 90s nostalgia with my kids.

I hold a BSc. in Nutritional Sciences (Dietetics) from Mcgill University (2005) and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (2025).
